EDC Lumen Log ("we", "us", "the app") is a free Android application built by a solo developer based in Singapore. The app is distributed via Google Play Store and provides offline reviews of flashlights.

When you tap a Buy link in the app, it opens Amazon's website (Amazon.com / Amazon.co.jp / Amazon.sg) in your default browser via Android's intent system. We embed an affiliate tag in the URL so we earn a small commission if you purchase. We do not share any data with Amazon. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you reach their site:
If you choose to purchase the Premium feature (¥370 / S$3 one-time), the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a binary success/failure signal — we do not see your payment method or personal details. Google Play's privacy policy applies:

The app is rated for general audiences (no content unsuitable for children). However, because we collect no personal data, the app is incidentally compliant with COPPA (US), GDPR-K (EU), and similar children's privacy regulations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age.
Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to retain. Your local app data (favorites, settings) is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Since we collect no personal data, there is no data for us to provide or delete. You can clear your local data anytime via Android Settings → Apps → EDC Lumen Log → Storage → Clear data.

All factual claims (lumens, candela, specs) are sourced from manufacturer pages and community-verified sources. All source URLs are visible in the app's "Sources" sections per flashlight. Reviews ("verdicts") reflect honest critique, including limitation disclosure.
